Personal Support / Companion Caregiver

 

Position Overview: Caregiver

At Master Care-Givers, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for adults and children with physical and mental disabilities. As a caregiver, you will play an essential role in enhancing the lives of our clients by assisting them in their homes or helping them engage in meaningful community activities such as trips to the movies, parks, or Special Olympics events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-Home Support:
    • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, cooking, cleaning, and other household tasks.
    • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Accompany clients to community outings and activities.
    • Encourage participation in programs and foster social interactions.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma OR GED
  • Proven experience caregiving for adults or children with special needs is required.
  • Up-to-date CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
  • Level 2 background screening 
  • Complete APD training on train.org (trainings will be assigned following the initial interview).

Join our Team - Board Certified Behavior Analyst

 

 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a 1099 contractor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, reassessments, developing treatment plans, providing parent training, and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

This is an excellent opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys flexibility, leadership, and helping shape a startup ABA company with long-term growth opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial ABA assessments and reassessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide weekly supervision and support to RBTs
  • Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and other service providers
  • Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with Medicaid and BACB standards

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing
  • Florida Medicaid provider enrollment preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience supervising RBTs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for in-home/school services
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team

Insurance Information

At this time, we currently accept Medicaid insurance only. We are actively working toward credentialing with additional insurance providers as our ABA division continues to expand.
