Position Overview: A Personal Support / Companion Caregiver works with clients who have physical and/or mental disabilities. This role involves providing professional and compassionate support both in clients' homes and within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
• Monitor and document clients' progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment, adhering to best practices and organizational policies.

DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION REQUIRED

Prerequisite skills and qualifications for the duties of this job include:

• Strong organizational skills while being able to maintain high standards under pressure
• ability to adapt to change and remain flexible
• Accustomed to working with and understanding the needs of various types of patients/clients.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to work well as an independent collaborator and as a team
• Ability to comply with standards policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Ability to use computer programs to keep accurate documentation and records
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills

Education and Training Requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not required)
• Home Health Aid certificate (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant certificate (CNA) (preferred, but not required)
• Level 2 background screening - REQUIRED 
• CPR certification - REQUIRED

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Our competitive pay starts at $15.50 per hour. However, we offer opportunities for higher pay rates based on years of experience, educational background, and relevant qualifications. We value expertise and commitment, and we are dedicated to compensating our team members accordingly.

Schedules varies due to depending on when the client needs services

Locations: we serve clients in 5 different locations

• Brevard County
• Orange County
• Sumter County
