Personal Support / Companion Caregiver

 

Position Overview: Caregiver

At Master Care-Givers, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for adults and children with physical and mental disabilities. As a caregiver, you will play an essential role in enhancing the lives of our clients by assisting them in their homes or helping them engage in meaningful community activities such as trips to the movies, parks, or Special Olympics events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-Home Support:
    • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, cooking, cleaning, and other household tasks.
    • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Accompany clients to community outings and activities.
    • Encourage participation in programs and foster social interactions.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma OR GED
  • Proven experience caregiving for adults or children with special needs is required.
  • Up-to-date CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
  • Level 2 background screening 
  • Complete APD training on train.org (trainings will be assigned following the initial interview).

Become a Courier Contractor

Courier Transporter

 

Drive With Purpose. Deliver With Impact.


Master Care-Givers Courier Services partners with independent contractor drivers (1099) who want flexible work while supporting the healthcare system.

This is an item-delivery courier role, not patient transportation.


Contractor Responsibilities

Independent courier contractors are responsible for:

  • Using their own personal vehicle
  • Maintaining active auto insurance
  • Keeping their vehicle safe, clean, and well-maintained
  • Following all delivery instructions and timelines
  • Protecting confidential healthcare items at all times
  • Operating as a 1099 independent contractor


Contractor Requirements

To be eligible, drivers must:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Carry active auto insurance
  • Pass a background screening (case-by-case review)
  • Clean driving record (no DUIs or excessive speeding tickets) 
  • Complete HIPAA & basic safety training
  • Own a reliable vehicle suitable for courier work

CDL is not required for most routes.
